Eyelid Surgery, Blepharoplasty, Upper Blepharoplasty, Lower Blepharoplasty. This 40-year-old female patient was referred to Aristocrat Plastic Surgery and Dr. Tehrani by a friend who recently underwent a procedure. In our patient’s consultation with Dr. Tehrani, she was aware from the beginning that she wanted to have eyelid surgery on both her upper and lower eyelids. From her physical examination, Dr. Tehrani found evidence of eyelid skin laxity on both upper and lower lids, as well as some excess fat on the lower lids. Dr. Tehrani recommended that our patient undergo an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed at the same time under general anesthesia. The total time for completing the surgery on both eyelids would be an hour and a half. Just one week after her surgery, all of her incisions were in tact and healing well.
