Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty), Chin Augmentation, and Chin Implant. Our 36-year-old female patient underwent several plastic surgery procedures that included nose surgery (rhinoplasty), chin augmentation, and a chin implant. Our patient was unhappy with the look of her nose and chin, and thought that her nasal tip looked droopy. She was also unhappy with the width of her nose, and felt like her chin didn’t have as much prominence as she’d like. After a thorough consultation with Dr. Tehrani, she decided to undergo a closed rhinoplasty with small incisions on the sides of her nose, and also to have a chin augmentation that included the insertion of a small silicone chin implant. Her procedures took a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes for everything. Dr. Tehrani has the ability to “customize” a patient’s procedure based upon their specific needs and anatomy. With emphasis on diagnosis and with the aid of cosmetic computerized imaging, he can create a plan to obtain the most satisfying results. Dr. Kevin Tehrani, MD, FACS, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and became Chief Resident in General Surgery during his residency at New York’s Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Tehrani holds the academic position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and proudly served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserves Medical Corps. In addition to his clinical work and unrivaled dedication to his patients, he works to further the field and has presented both nationally and internationally at major medical symposia. Dr. Tehrani has been published in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals, cementing his standing as one of New York’s premier plastic surgeons.
