“This 35 year-old female patient underwent a breast augmentation using 375cc silicone implants. Her procedure was performed using anatomical implants that could be customized for her and were available in different profiles and heights. Anatomical implants have textured shells. This allows the shell to adhere to the tissue within the pocket where the implant resides, and the adherence prevents the implant from turning. Another advantage of anatomical implants is that they can be customized.
