Who Is A Candidate for CoolSculpting?
If you have pockets of localized fat and good skin elasticity, you might be a good candidate for CoolSculpting. Some patients might benefit more from surgical liposuction, but Dr. Tehrani will advise you of the best treatment during your consultation and examination. He will always suggest the least invasive procedure for you that will provide you with the results you want.
Note that CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure.
What Is The CoolSculpting Procedure
The CoolSculpting procedure begins with a personalized consultation to identify your treatment goals and determine the best areas to target. During your appointment, a protective gel pad is applied to the treatment area before the CoolSculpting applicator is placed on the skin. The device gently draws the tissue into the applicator and delivers controlled cooling to freeze and target fat cells beneath the surface.
You may feel an initial cooling sensation, pulling, pressure, or mild tingling as the treatment begins, but the area gradually becomes numb. Once complete, the treated area may be gently massaged to enhance the process. The procedure typically requires little to no downtime, allowing you to return to your daily routine while your body naturally eliminates the targeted fat cells over the following weeks and months.

Frequently
Asked Questions
How does CoolSculpting work?
It freezes and destroys targeted fat cells, which the body then naturally eliminates over several weeks.
What about Emsculpt Neo?

Is there downtime?
Both are non-invasive with minimal downtime. Some soreness or mild bruising can occur.
Are results permanent?
Destroyed fat cells don’t return. However, weight changes can affect neighboring fat cells.
How many sessions are needed?
CoolSculpting typically requires 1–3 treatments per area; Emsculpt Neo often suggests 4+ sessions for best muscle and fat results.
