Ultherapy

Not a facelift but an uplift, Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology to gradually strengthen and tone your skin from deep within. The benefit? Tighter, firmer, better-fitting skin!

Ultherapy is a non-surgical face treatment that actually lifts and tones loose or sagging skin without any downtime. It can specifically target the deep foundation below the skin – typically addressed in cosmetic surgery – without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. It also is the only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows us to see the layers of tissue we target during the treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely where it will be most effective.

This FDA-approved technique also stimulates your body to produce more collagen for months of gradual improvement. Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firmed, toned, and elastic. As we age, collagen loses its elasticity and its ability to stand up to the effects of gravity that pull the skin downward. Ultherapy jumpstarts a repair process that produces fresh, new collagen.

Who is a Candidate for Ultherapy?

You could be a candidate for Ultherapy if you have mild to moderate sagging of skin on the face, particularly in the jowl and chin area or the brow area.

The Ultherapy Treatment

If you have ever had an ultrasound, you know that there is no penetration of the skin, and it is painless. With Ultherapy, however, some people say that it is mildly uncomfortable. We can provide numbing of the treatment area or medication to take beforehand in order to ease discomfort.

The treatment takes 30 minutes or less, and results can usually be achieved in one or two treatments. Individual results may vary.

Recovery from Ultherapy

No downtime is required after Ultherapy, and you can return immediately to work and other activities.

Some patients experience some redness for a few hours and mild swelling for a few days. If you feel tenderness or see some faint bruising, these are also normal side effects that should resolve quickly.
