At Aristocrat Plastic Surgery, Dr. Kevin Tehrani is an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans. While we do not participate directly with insurance companies, many patients are still able to utilize their out-of-network benefits for procedures that are deemed medically necessary. Our experienced insurance team is happy to verify your benefits, determine whether your plan offers out-of-network coverage, and guide you through the process from start to finish.
What Procedures May Be Covered by Insurance?
Insurance coverage is generally limited to procedures that are considered medically necessary rather than cosmetic. Common procedures that may qualify include:
- Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammoplasty)
- Breast Reconstruction following mastectomy or lumpectomy
- Breast Implant Removal when medically indicated (such as implant rupture or other qualifying medical conditions)
- Breast Revision Surgery when medically necessary
- Abdominal Wall Reconstruction
- Scar Revision for functionally limiting or medically necessary scars
- Skin Lesion, Cyst, or Lipoma Removal
- Reconstructive Surgery following trauma or skin cancer
- Other reconstructive procedures based on medical necessity

How the Process Works
- Schedule a consultation with Dr. Tehrani.
- Dr. Tehrani will perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether your condition may qualify as medically necessary.
- Our insurance specialists will verify your out-of-network benefits and obtain any required prior authorizations.
- Once your treatment plan is finalized, we will review your estimated financial responsibility, including any deductibles, coinsurance, or non-covered services.
Cosmetic Procedures
Procedures performed solely for cosmetic enhancement are not covered by insurance and are considered self-pay. During your consultation, we will provide a detailed quote and discuss financing options to help make your procedure more affordable.
