ThermiTight Educational Event

Last week Aristocrat Plastic Surgery & MedAesthetics was pleased to host an educational event focused on ThermiTight, a microinvasive aesthetic procedure which sends controlled radiofrequency under the skin to reproduce collagen and reduce the signs of aging. We invited many local doctors and helped them get more familiar with this procedure.

At the event an official ThermiAesthetics representative held an informative presentation, portraying the amazing results this innovative new technology achieves.

ThermiTight is a perfect solution for patients who aim for achieving greater results than non-invasive procedures, and does not want to undergo major surgery. ThermiTight is also used for treatment of the face, neck, tummy, and thighs. One of the greatest advantages of ThermiTight is that it shows immediate results, which continue to improve over time as collagen is regenerated.

Here is a video explaining how ThermiTight really works.

Our leading plastic surgeon, Dr. Kevin Tehrani held an educational presentation as well. During the presentation he performed a face and neck procedure on a patient who would otherwise be a candidate for a face-lift. During this procedure, a small probe was inserted under the patient’s skin, and the radiofrequency targeted the insertion area directly, shrinking the tissues. The temperature of the tissue was measured using a FLIR thermal camera, to ensure proper collagen production, and for patient safety. Knowing the exact temperature of the surface skin prevents any possible burning or blistering.

On this photo Dr. Tehrani is looking at a display of the internal temperature, monitored by the FLIR camera. Dr. Tehrani is carefully ensuring all of the internal tissues are reaching a temperature where collagen will be produced, and skin tightened. This helps Dr. Tehrani to view real-time epidermal skin temperature monitoring.
